We revisit previous conversations in order to provide clarity and/or updates. As we're delving into uncharted territory it's become clear that we're feeling the full weight of just how abusive/dysfunctional these relationships were. The effects of narcissistic family abuse are dynamic rather than static. The emotional impact is far greater than we originally anticipated in some situations and non existent in others. We're creating chaos even as we work toward a greater understanding of ourselves, each other and our family. We intend to periodically revisit our initial conversations. It's not enough to identify/discuss the past, we're also committed to open honest communication with each other and those interested in rebuilding relationships from the basement up.
