Being raised in Detroit, she was surrounded by many musical influences including R&B, GhettoTech, House, Gospel, Reggae, Jazz and Hip hop. She began creating mixes on GarageBand in 2017 and eventually upgraded to learning how to DJ during quarantine in 2020. Since then, she has been raising a following in the underground artist scene in Chicago. She has had guest mixes on Blacks With Blues Radio (Detroit) as well as Juss Listen Radio (Toronto). ZAZA looks to get the people moving to sounds they are both familiar and unfamiliar with. She values the idea that a DJ’s role is to expand the minds and diversify the ears of people who gather to listen to music. TRACKLIST - Soon!
