The word disciple is derived from the word discipline. To be a disciple, you must certain conditions to satisfy your master. No father, mother, sister, wife and children are more important than your discipleship. Nothing must separate you from the love of God. If you look away, you would sink like Peter and stagnant like Lot's wife. A believer who is not rooted in the Word can easily be uprooted by the world. Watch out for those things which form your character, for your character is the foundation upon which your christian service is built.
