Having an Attitude of Gratitude - Making Peace with Our Past

from Let's Coach with Carolyn - Career Strategist, Leadership and Life Coach · host Carolyn R Owens

Send us Fan MailDuring the month of November many of us stop, reflect and express gratitude for all the many blessings in our lives. For some, this isn't an easy thing to do.  What we experience in life shapes our attitude, actions and behaviors. When we travel a path filled with challenges, we can take on a negative view of life. This negative view and attitude can block you from obtaining the success you truly desire.  Our guest this week could have chosen such a path, but despite starting her life with so many barriers, she chose  to make peace with her past and adopted an attitude of gratitude.  Meghan Enriquez is the Founder and CEO of TRUE Conversations LLC, President of Asian Business Collective for Women, and an independent consultant with  Arbonne International,  a vegan skin care, cosmetic, and nutrition company. She has a background in psychology with  extensive experience in behavior change and leadership, research, and business.  Her studies and  experience brought her naturally to the creation of TRUE. TRUE provides a platform for well rounded, unedited conversation and resources around the most stigmatized and private issues of today in an effort to develop a peaceful, fulfilling life and empathetic, compassionate world. Meghan has herself walked a path that is filled with stigma, but she was able to triumph and not become a victim to her circumstances.  In this episode of Let's Coach, Meghan will share her very personal and emotional story with you showing you can free yourself from the past and learn to experience gratitude in your life. You will learn how you can adopt your own practice of gratitude opening your heart to give and receive abundance and lead a full and enriched life.
