Hawkeye - Episode 4: Partners, Am I Right?

What a RUSH! Not only are we finally getting closer to answering our burning questions throughout this series, but this week’s latest episode did not disappoint with a phenomenal final battle scene and a cherry-on-top reveal. Not only that—but are we closer to finding out Michelle’s theory on Eleanor being bad might have been right all along? [***SPOILERS!***] Well, we may have a new theory on our watch mystery now, fans. Could Michelle’s belief that the watch in fact belongs to Clint’s wife, Laura, be accurate? She does, after all, pose some very good points/questions: How would Laura know how to speak German? We’ve never really learned the story of how Clint and Laura met The quote about the watch’s owner “not being in the game anymore” could easily point to Laura and a potential past involving S.H.I.E.L.D. There’s little evidence so far suggesting the specific gender of the owner (so who’s to say it belongs to a man?) As Adam and Michelle continue to ponder their thoughts on that mystery alone, there’s still plenty more to dig into, including that secret call Eleanor made, more comic-accurate Easter eggs, and our hosts’ difficulties with word pronunciations… Adam can’t get enough of Hailee Steinfeld’s natural fangirl energy as Kate (“Can I tell you a secret…? I’m talking to an AVENGER!”). Plus, who doesn’t love a little “partner” holiday bonding over Christmas movies (and trick shots!), superhero B & E’s, and more heart-felt moments over hot chocolate hearing the tale of the shot Clint “didn’t take.” And Michelle calls ‘em like she sees ‘em, perfectly predicting Yelena’s surprise entrance at the episode’s conclusion.
