Jesus Christ is the One who sets the captives free, who opens prison doors, and breaks bondages. He is the bondage breaker. The deliverer! Jesus is the same today and we can expect Him to do the same for us today. People all over the world, in all strata of society, educated and uneducated, rich and poor - find themselves in captivity to sin, sickness and satan. This is real, even in our world today. Often, both the unsaved and saved (believers) struggle with bondages to sin, sickness and satan. Jesus Christ is our Great Redeemer. He has done a perfect and complete work to set the captives free from sin, sickness and satan. He announced, "It is finished". The Cross is for everyone.
