Heart Like You: A Conversation About Racism

We want to press pause on our podcast schedule to talk about how we've been listening, learning, grieving and processing the racial injustice towards George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others in the world right now.  It's been going on for a long time, but we are just now seeing it for what it is, and repenting for God to change our hearts.   We've never talked about this before, we aren't going to have the perfect words to say, we don't have all the answers but we're learning.  Our prayer is that this very raw & vulnerable conversation would give you the courage to take a first step towards repentance and fighting injustice in your life.  We want this community to be a place to learn and grow together! For a long time we told ourselves this wasn't our issue, but it is.  We need to call racism by name and live the kingdom of God now.  No more passive compassion, it's time to move into action!  On earth as it is in heaven... there is no racism in heaven; we have a lot of work to do on earth. Let it begin with me.
