Hebrews 4: Speaking to us by His Son: In Him we have our rest.

Rev. Dr. Brian Kachelmeier, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Las Alamos, NM joins Rev. Brady Finnern to study Hebrews 4. We, like the receivers of this epistle, are restless and anxious people. We are reminded of Jesus’ words, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” We are able to receive the gift of grace from the LORD with confidence, not on our own merits, but by the merits of Christ. “Lord Jesus, keep us from disobedience and help us to enter Your rest, to hold fast to our confession, and draw near You with confidence on account of Your merits. Help us today to rest in Your grace. Lord have mercy. Amen”
