Helping children with their emotions - Special guest Wendy Miller

Today, I will speak to Wendy Miller, a mum of three teenage boys and a wise-for-my-size coach who supports children with their emotional literacy. Wendy discusses the importance of children understanding their emotions and how creating open communication within our homes fosters healthy emotional development in infancy and supports mental health in adulthood. We discuss how previous generations often hid emotions from children in an attempt to protect them from life's stressors and the implications of this for meeting our needs later in life.
