The verdict of the former dictator of Chad, Hissène Habré, is scheduled today in the Extraordinary African Chambers of the Court of Senegal. The trial is historic for many reasons. It will be the first in which the court of one state prosecutes the former ruler of another for alleged human rights crimes.
