The Athanasian Creed states, “Whoever wishes to be saved must, above all else, hold to the true Christian faith.” The teaching of the Holy Trinity – our “Three-In-One” God, is an essential part of that true Christian faith. It can seem, many times, like an academic theme for a Sunday. However, the way God reveals this to us is by focusing on the way our triune God is a blessing to us. He shows us how we benefit from the triune nature he possesses. So, in many ways, this Sunday is no different than any other. It shines the spotlight on the indescribable blessings our indescribable God showers on us every day that we sit at the feet of his Word.
