A homicide is under investigation in Charlotte's University City area, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.The incident happened on Dave McKinney Avenue near North Tryon Street. CMPD put an alert out about the homicide shortly after 9:15 p.m. on Monday.When police arrived to the scene, they found a man who had been shot.
