Hopes cancer bus debacle will conclude once and for all

There are further hopes for the introduction of a fit for purpose bus for cancer patients travelling from Sligo to Galway. The current bus is currently without a toilet which has leaves passengers with no option but to ask the driver to stop at service stations along the route. The issue became a main talking point prior to the General Election with many pointing the blame at the government parties. Elected Fine Gael Deputies will gather in Dublin this afternoon for the first time since the weekend's vote. Sligo-Leitrim Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan says he will raise the issue of the bus with his colleagues and hopes it is resolved as a matter of urgency.
