Hopes for new chapter for iconic seafood restaurant in County Sligo

There are hopes that someone will take over an iconic seafood restaurant in County Sligo following news that it's not to reopen for the upcoming tourism season. Eithnas by the Sea in Mullaghmore is the latest local restaurant to announce its permanent closure, after 30 years in business. The current climate with the VAT rate and the difficulty sourcing seasonal staff are said to have been contributing factors. Owner Eithna O'Sullivan hopes the Government will work harder to help struggling businesses but is keeping positive over future of the restaurant:
