Hour 1 - Tara Show Hour 1: Trump team terrified in China; China-Democrat alliance; study on marrying smart.

from The Tara Show

Hour 1 of the Monday, May 18, 2026, broadcast of The Tara Show delivers a sharp mix of high-stakes geopolitical drama and lighthearted relationship dynamics. The hour kicks off with an intense analysis of President Donald Trump’s return from China, exposing a terrified and paranoid White House team that operated under extreme, wartime-level security protocols to counter Beijing's espionage threats. Building on this tension, the second segment reveals how close Trump's inner circle came to being arrested on Chinese soil following a fierce standoff with local security, while the hosts advance the theory that China and the Democratic Party operate as ideological allies aimed at weakening nationalist policies. Shifting gears to social commentary, the third segment explores a provocative new study asking listeners if they married someone smarter than themselves, examining how intelligence disparities impact modern marriages. Finally, the hour closes by breaking down dating standards, highlighting a statistic showing that 45% of women insist they need a mate who matches their own intellectual level to maintain a successful partnership.

00:00 Good morning, Lee. Good morning, Tara. Okay. Trump returning from China. Didn't bring any souvenirs back though, did he? No, whatsoever. None. In fact, they scrubbed the plane, people's luggage, everything to make sure China hadn't planted anything on us, which tells you the real state of the Trump team there in China. They were terrified the whole time they were there and they were, they were at tremendous risk. They really were because 00:29 China puts on the face of the panda and welcomes you while, well. I like the way you put that, the face of the panda. Yes, don't let it fool you. looks nice and cuddly. and fuzzy, Yeah, but those things are vicious. They really are. So Trump taking a victory lap after leaving because China promised that 00:54 It wasn't gonna arm Iran anymore. China claimed they didn't want a nuclear Iran, despite the thousands of scientists and nuclear personnel that were Chinese that poured out of Isfahan in the roughly hour before we blew it up. Because they built it. Or the $400 billion China put into the nuke program and infrastructure in Iran so it can completely control it exactly. 01:22 the infrastructure and the companies that control the Chinese people through the social credit system and the cameras and all of that. Jiran is just a subsidiary as we know Lee of China. It's why I call it Chiran. But China said sitting there at that table, man, it made big news. Oh yeah, we don't want a nuclear armed Jiran. No, not us. And we want an end to the Iran word. Like, well, totally, totally not arm them, right? Well, Trump. 01:52 talked about that with Hannity. Before he left China, the president told Sean Hannity that Xi did offer assistance in ending the conflict, saying China agrees that Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon. And the president says he got a commitment that China would not give Iran what he called military equipment. When you say support, they're not fighting a war with us or anything. No. He said he's not going to give military equipment. That's a big statement. He said that today. That's a big statement. 02:21 said that strongly, but at the same time he said- Well, that's what he said. But while, and the timing of this Lee cannot be an accident, while they were sitting at the table at the time they were discussing Iran and not arming Iran, guess what China was doing? 02:45 ARMING IRAN! Take a listen. This is Ryan from Max Afterburner. It's May 15th, 2026 and Iran just seized a floating armory. It was off the coast of the UAE. Honey, did you leave the dryer on? Oh, also, did you leave the floating armory unattended? Seriously? Who was watching this floating armory that allowed Iran to just come in and scoop it up? Reports are saying the IRGC boarded a Honduras flagged vessel. 03:12 called the Hui-Chan, a Chinese operated ship and dragged it toward Iranian territorial waters. Oh, weird, there was just a floating armory there, happened to be linked to China. China's not giving them weapons, it was stolen. It was a stolen armory. China had no idea that Iran was gonna go scoop this thing up. Again, Lee, the timing. And they did it, here's the interesting part. 03:38 during the Trump-Z summit while the American president and the Chinese president were sitting across the table in Beijing, agreeing that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. Meanwhile, looks like China's like, yeah, we can't give them weapons outright, but let's put a floating armory packed with weapons. Who knows what was on that thing? And let's just have it be stolen. Oh, whoopsie, yeah, we didn't give them weapons, but the IRGC was caught boarding that ship 38 miles off the coast of UAE. 04:07 United Arab Emirates, that's way over across the Persian Gulf from Iran itself. This doesn't seem like a coincidence to me. It seems like this war has now stepped up in how Iran might be getting their weapons. Let's just end this. Let's just end ...
