HOUR 3 - Reynolds' blunder leads to Pirates loss, Ryan Wilson, Debrief

Bryan Reynolds made a gaffe last night that led to some runs for the Padres in a 5-0 Pirates loss. Reynolds is back out in LF tonight with Paul Skenes on the mound. Skenes’ Cy Young odds have already taken a dip due to the Opening Day disaster. Why are plays like the ones from Reynolds last night and the Oneil Cruz mishaps on Opening Day not ruled as errors? They didn’t get their glove on the ball, but it’s a judgement call that took ordinary effort to make the plays. We knew the Pirates wouldn’t be good defensively, but we are seeing it first-hand in the first week+ of the season. NFL Draft analyst Ryan Wilson from CBS Sports joined the show. Ryan explained why Denzel Boston may be a WR that falls out of the 1st round. How much does the 40-yard dash time matter for players that put up big production? Darrell Jackson Jr., who is not related to the former Seahawks WR, spent time between the 0-technique and 3-technique last season, so it makes sense for the Steelers to have eyes on him at some point. Why did one of the mock drafts have the Steelers taking an edge rusher in the 1st round? Ryan said the Steelers should select Vega Ioane at 21 if he is available and they shouldn’t think twice about it. He also perused some of the tackles that could fall to the back half of the opening round.
