House prices continue to increase in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal

Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal all showed strong increases in housing prices over the first three months of 2025, when compared to last year.According to the latest Daft.ie House Price Report for Q1, Leitrim showed the highest rise of 12% over the last 12 months, with an average home price of €204,000.Sligo rose by 11%, with an average price of a home at €221,000.While Donegal increased by 8%, with an average home price of €230,000.All three counties showed prices between 47% and 54% higher than seen at the start of the covid19 pandemic.Author of the report, Ronan Lyons, explains the increase in house demand across the North West region:
