How active are your kids?

from The Morning Show with Devon Peacock · host Corus Radio

The latest report card from ParticipAction says climate change poses an extra challenge to children and youth who need more exercise outside and less time staring at screens. The non-profit gives Canada's kids a D-plus for overall physical activity after finding that 39 per cent of children between the ages of five and 17 got the recommended 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise a day. The report card's D-plus grade is a slight improvement from a D in 2022 when pandemic restrictions shut down organized sports in communities and schools.
