This was such a super fun chat! We had some great conversations and laughed a lot!

Marta talks about unschooling her 3 young people (two of whom are now adults!) and about the most common questions she has received about unschooling and home education.

This is a great convo for anyone starting out with unschooling and having all the absolutely normal doubts and wobbles that come with it.

Marta Obiols Llistar is an experienced educator and author with more than 20 years of experience in education. She holds a dual degree in special education and elementary education. She has worked in various educational settings, including daycares, preschools, private schools, charter schools, and public schools. Marta was born and raised in Barcelona and has lived in the U.S.A. for the past 23 years. She is the author of the award-winning parenting book 18, an unschooling experience, and #vidasincole. Her latest book, A Successful Education, is a comprehensive guide for parents interested in alternative education.

Marta is passionate about helping parents help their children become happy, engaged, and successful learners by tailoring their education to their unique strengths and interests. She has educated her three children successfully outside the school system following John Holt's most famous suggestion to parents: unschool.

Marta’s new book is A Successful Education.

Her book about chronicling her home education journey is 18: An Unschooling Experience.

Thank you for listening, let me know your thoughts!!
