Valuing how successful you are based on how much is in your bank account or how many followers you have on social media, is one way to ticket to feeling completely unsuccessful. Success can never be found in something you can buy, get or be given - because the goal posts you set will always move. But when society pushes a narrative that bigger is better, how can you let go of external pressures that dictate what it means to be successful? For my guest this week, it was only when he reached breaking point that he ‘woke’ up and realised that he was actually one of the most successful and wealthy humans alive. Sam Thomas has worked hard to define his own version of what success means - a definition that is built on all the things that money can never buy. He is now on a mission to spread his message that success is something that only matters to you and the people who believe and support you. So, wherever you are in your journey of figuring out what it means to be successful, wealthy or valued, I hope this episode will help you to write your own definition of success - one that ‘feels’ right for you. Connect with Sam Thomas: https://www.different-hats.co.uk/Connect with me: www.flipitglobal.com#flipitpodcast#FlipItwitLauraHearnInstagram: laura_lhearnTikTok: laura_lhearnWatch clips of this episode on YouTube: @FlipItwithLauraHearn Sign up to my newsletter and and join the Flip It community here:https://laurahearn.substack.com/If you have a story to share, I’d love to hear from you: www.speakpipe.com/FlipIt Hosted on Acast.
