President Biden claimed on numerous occasions he would not pardon his son, Hunter Biden. Then, news broke Sunday evening that the President would in fact issue a pardon to his son, shielding him from any consequences for federal crimes he may have committed in the past eleven years. Both Democrats and Republicans are not happy with the news, saying it sets an unwanted precedent.
