How To Create New Habits to Improve Yourself Much Easier
from A Phil Svitek Podcast - A Series From Your 360 Creative Coach · host Phil Svitek
Author Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project, Better Than Before) discovered that it's much easier to change our habits during times of transition. Certainly quarantine during this Coronavirus pandemic constitutes as a transitional period for us all. While not ideal, we can take advantage of this time and make it "alive time" (as Robert Green would term it). I go over this notion and share my experience in this episode in hopes of inspiring you to make one small step towards a better version of you (better being whatever you define it to be). For more information about this notion, check out Gretchen's blog: https://gretchenrubin.com/2014/09/habit-change-is-easiest-when-people-move-house-or-undergo-some-life-transition/. Also, hear her as a guest on Yoga Girl's podcast (it's a podcast I produce and it's a fantastic interview): https://www.yogagirl.com/podcast/conversations-from-the-heart/stick-to-healthy-habits-and-de-clutter-your-life-with-gretchen-rubin. Too often I hear people complain about successful people citing that they had X, Y and Z advantage. So what? Comment down below with any questions or thoughts that you may have. Hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek if it's easier. I'd love to hear from you. And for more free resources from your 360 creative coach, check out my website at http://philsvitek.com.
