Asian American Stories Los Angeles- AAPI LA AAPI LA In May 2021, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced AAPI LA, an initiative to help amplify and address the challenges and needs of AAPI communities to ensure that AAPI Angelenos, who have historically been left out of important conversations - whether due to cultural and language barriers or biases - have a seat at the table. A podcast, Asian American Stories, launched as the initiative’s effort to provide a platform to give voice to the Asian American Pacific Islander communities by sharing their stories.
