This week we talked to Philly-based artist Franny Lane. Her hobbies include thinking of something and then making it, whether it be leg warmers, a cake, or a new song. Since beginning, her music has undergone a steady transition from indie-singer songwriter to a heavier, empowering sound. Her songwriting process is put together like a puzzle, taking pieces from old works and melding new ideas to create a cohesive piece of art. She’s currently working on her new album, which will focus on her prior relationship and how it's affected her with a plan to release by the end of the year.
