How to THANK God In The Midst of It ALL

November 21, 2021 Scripture Reading: Psalm 106:47-48 (NKJV) – Save us, O LORD our God, And gather us from among the Gentiles, To give thanks to Your holy name, To triumph in Your praise. 48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! 1. You need to thank The LORD because HE is GOOD! Psalm 106:1 (NKJV) – Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Good – A. Good is WHO The LORD IS! 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NKJV) – Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 107:1-8 (ESV) – Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble 3 and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 4 Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; 5 hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. 6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. 8 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! B. Good is WHAT The LORD DOES! Psalm 84:11 (ESV) – For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. Hebrews 9:11-12 (NLT) – So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. 12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. James 1:17 (NLT) – Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
