HSE comes in for criticism over day centre at Killybegs Community Hospital

The HSE has come in for criticism over a lack of services currently being provided at the day centre at Killybegs Community Hospital. It’s been claimed that the facility hasn’t been fully operational since before the pandemic. Staffing is said to be one of the big issues, resulting in a range of healthcare options no longer available to the local community. A letter is to be sent from Donegal County Council to the HSE on the matter. Local Independent Cllr Niamh Kennedy says members of the community are being badly impacted as  a result:
