HSE recruitment ban continues to impact local healthcare
Serious concern has been raised once again over the impact the HSE recruitment ban is having on Sligo University Hospital and primary care locally.There's said to be a number of vacant posts locally which in turn is creating lengthy waiting lists.Local Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh says it's going to have major consequences unless the Health Minister steps in.He also feels that the HSE has gotten 'too big' and that previous models should be reinstated.
