With “I Can”, Jonas Schilling delivers a track that captures his signature sound: warm, positive, and rhythmically playful. But beneath the inviting grooves lies something deeper: a quiet, persistent mantra about perseverance. The track echoes a childhood memory: struggling with a ski lift, Jonas found himself falling time and again at the same steep spot. His mother’s simple advice, to keep telling himself “I can do this”, became a turning point. Repeating those words over and over, they lost their literal meaning and turned into a rhythm of self-belief. That day, for the first time, he made it up the slope on his own.
