ASHLEY CAST Miss_kanini Hi..fancy seeing you here..how are you? It feels nice to have a safe haven right?well this is mine and I hope it becomes yours too. Thank you for passing by and you are welcome Everytime to come and listen. It's not easy growing up but we will still strive.Welcome to my world 😃I don't have much to say..I'm overwhelmed that this is what I have till I don't know when but it's for a good cause. Good Grief Jay Gearing Good Grief is a podcast about grief but also how we develop, learn and form meaningful traditions around it.I’ve lost loved ones in my life, most of us have. But recently I lost someone and I just didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know how to process it, but equally I didn’t know what to do to help friends or family experiencing loss. Selfishly it scared me and reminded me of my own mortality. I guess I’ve avoided anything related to death or grief for my entire life. I was shocked by how much I didn’t know and how we never talk about it as a society. I mean it’s one of life’s most inevitable things, why don’t I have any tools at my disposal to deal with it? It’s clear we’re frightened to talk about it, which makes sense considering, but keeping it at arms length makes it increasingly more difficult to understand or create helpful traditions around. How can we ever help, understand or support people grieving if we never talk about it?I did some research and deve The Journey of Motherhood Podcast The Journey of Motherhood Podcast I never know which part to start with….the personal or professional. But I guess when I think about what is most important to me….. above all else….it’s being a mother. I have 4 children between the ages of 8 and 15 years. I call them “the loves of my life” because truly that is how it is. But just as much as they can fill me with so much joy that I burst, they can also bring me to my knees. There is heaps I love about motherhood, some parts I’m indifferent to and a few bits that I don’t like. I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today, without the experiences that motherhood has brought me.On top of all that I’m a Clinical (and Forensic) Psychologist. I’ll save the conversation about “what is a forensic psychologist” for another time. What I really want you to know is that one of the areas that I love love love working in the most, is with mums and their bubs, toddlers, pre-schoolers, primary and high school aged kids.
