THE CHAIR (S1/Ep13) — I Wanted to Shake Her HandHello Beautiful People, I’m Your Host Dreme. I’m a Black woman, an educator turned tech entrepreneur but still an educator. Building a platform called THE CHAIR is a Black and Brown centered tech platform dedicated to supporting people on their hair journey. You can design hairboards, connect to hair stylists, and share hair care tips all in one space for a more joyous and streamlined experience. I built THE CHAIR Podcast to highlight hair journeys. A reminder to keep creating magic. As people sit in THE CHAIR you will get more than just hair stories. You will be immersed into experiences surrounding education, entrepreneurship, and identity. She is a wife, a mom, an AVID reader, a gardener, and scared of bugs and insects. Sereen identifies as  Palestinian and Japanese. She is currently teaching 6th graders. This episode we explore how Sereen got into the world of education. We learn about the importance of mentorship and the impact of what a guiding hand can do for someones mental health and career trajectory.
