This question actually comes up quite often.  Yes, a typical French diet may include a lot of bread but, it’s also higher quality. Other French eating habits are also pretty different than the typical U.S. diet. If we look at the French lifestyle, the French also: •     Eat 4x as much butter •     Eat 60% more cheese •     Eat 180 grams of fat from animal sources vs. 72 grams in the USA •    Eat 3x as much pork  •    Have much less vegetable oils  •    Have less HFCS •    Don't allow fortification •    Tend to keep traditional foods  •    Have strict purity laws •    Consume less sugar •    Snack less Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 51 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in weight loss through nutritional & natural methods.
