I’m Kinda Over Getting Told to Throw My Hands Up in the Air

from The Providence Podcast · host God Space Community; Sisters of Divine Providence of Kentucky

What an image of leadership – Moses so visibly present on the hill with his hands raised and two of his community members on either side offering support. It seems like a lot of us could benefit from this kind of leadership, especially during these times of transition. We’re no longer what we have been, but we don’t know what we’re becoming. How will we get through this? How are our leaders leading, and how do we support each other as community? And where is God in all this? For reflection: Have you ever experienced a liminal space, neither where you have been nor where you’re going? How did you get through this time?  What are some of the challenges of a liminal season? What feelings stir up within you? What are some of the gifts of this time?  What do you need from your leaders?  If you yourself have a leadership role, what support do you need?  Spend a few minutes talking with God about all of this.  You can read the reflection here, and you can sign up to receive our weekly newsletter at www.GodSpaceCommunity.com. At God Space, you can come as you are. You belong here.  Here's the book I refer to, and I hope you check it out:  Beaumont, Susan.
