Dit gebeurde grotendeels door verschillende activiteiten van Prins Maurits tijdens de Tachtigjarige Oorlog (1568-1648). Wij focussen ons op de gebeurtenissen van Prins Maurits (zoon van Willem van Oranje) in Vlaanderen.In deze laatste aflevering ronden we de avonturen van Maurits in Vlaanderen af, we doen dat door de "Slag bij Nieuwpoort" af te ronden, en ons te focussen op West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, en dan zeker op Sluis en de activiteiten die gekoppeld kunnen worden aan Oostende.
