Ryan and Paul are back to talk the week that was and is to come in the world of MMA on the latest episode of In the Clinch. In the "We Have to Talk About" segment, they discuss the big fight that was made just as last week's episode was dropped, the main event of UFC 279, which features Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev in the last fight of Diaz' contract. They then recap a busy week in MMA headlined by the big show from London which continued the rise of Paddy the Baddy and Meatball Molly. The show also had a second straight unsatisfying finish to a main event with Tom Aspinall suffering a freak injury 15 seconds into his fight with Curtis Blaydes. The UFC 277 preview, which Ryan will attend live, goes over title fights in the women's bantamweight divison and men's flyweight along with the rest of the main card and prelims in what is a solid but unspectacular undercard. In a light news week segment, Ryan goes over a stacked UFC 280 card scheduled for October in Abu Dhabi to close out the show.
