Ryan and Paul are back with another edition of In the Clinch covering a busy week that was and is to come in the world of MMA. They look back over the UFC show from this past weekend which had a fight of the year candidate in the main event with Rob Font losing to Marlon Vera with the biggest win of the latter fighter's career. We also had a week of PFL action that almost no one watched but a show coming up this weekend that is loaded up by their standards with Kayla Harrison, Anthony Pettis and Rory McDonald all fighting on the show. Bellator is also back with a show from Paris featuring a heavyweight title between Ryan Bader and Cheick Kongo... in 2022. Yes, that Cheick Kongo. The Ultimate Fighter season 30 also kicks off this week and they briefly run down some of the notable cast members. And then the guys have an extensive preview of UFC 274 featuring two big title fights with Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje in the main event and Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza in the co-main. Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson also fight on the card so it's almost guaranteed to have great fights. Ryan goes off on a bit of a rant about Cris Cyborg's interview with Ariel Helwani and then in our "We Have to Talk About" segment, Ryan breaks down a bunch of big fights that have recently been booked in the heavyweight division.
