In The Way Of God's Grace

Today, Tuesday September 29 - "For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  (John 1:17) How do we find, experience and enjoy the freedom that we are looking for in our life?  Two big words!  Grace and truth! And both of them are found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  "For freedom, Christ has set us free!" (Galatians 5:1)  If we are to find this freedom we must put ourselves in the path of God's amazing grace.  It begins with humility! "God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6) God's grace is more than "God's unmerited favor".  God's grace gives me the desire, the power, the ability to be and do what I ought to do to please Him.  In 2 Peter 1:3-4 we read: "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness though the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire."  God bless!
