(00:00-23:03) – Query & Company opens a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison chatting about who is going to be in the fastest seat for this weekend’s Sonsio Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It leads to a discussion about the Indiana Pacers draft expectations based off of what pick they secure in the lottery, hopefully.   (23:03-33:23) – Indy Ignite Head Coach Lauren Bertolacci joins Jake Query to discuss the thrilling ride this season has been so far in her first season with the Ignite playing in the Pro Volleyball Federation Championship tomorrow night. They discuss the challenges that their opponent, Omaha Supernovas, will bring after facing off four times in the regular season and discuss if there is a difference between regular season volleyball and postseason volleyball.    (33:23-45:06) – The first hour of Query & Company concludes with Jake Query realizing that he didn’t tell Eddie the truth yesterday when he helping Eddie out with a project. They transition eventually into some more thoughts on the IHSAA’s approval of the personal branding activities for its student-athletes. (45:06-1:15:56) – Pat Boylan from the Indiana Pacers & Fever broadcast teams joins the show to preview the start of the season for the Fever by the decision to keep a roster spot open versus having 12-players on the roster. They also touch on how the Fever’s veteran additions are going to pay dividends when it comes to improving defensively this season and the options that the Pacers have if they keep their pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.    (1:15:56-1:24:18) – The new Noblesville Boom President of Business Operations, Chris Defendis, joins Jake Query in studio to discuss how the interview process went for the position, why he wanted to join the Pacers Sports & Entertainment family, and explains how his previous jobs are going to help him with the Boom.   (1:24:18-1:32:12) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Chris Defendis discussing the passing of Ted Turner as someone who used to work for him following his passing earlier today and sharing how people can get involved with the Boom moving forward. (1:32:12-1:52:48) – Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison kick off the final hour of the show by discussing Eddie’s travel plans to Hawaii next week and Jake displaying his intellect for flight timings. They eventually give away two pairs of tickets for two listeners to go to Card Day by doing some get to know your listener! (1:52:48-2:08:09) – The NBA Draft Lottery is this weekend and Jake and Eddie have a discussion about whether it would be better for the Pacers to trade their pick if it is the third or fourth pick to improve their chances at winning now versus having a smaller window but more chances at winning the NBA Finals.
