On jobs and real estate, local recruiters report a steady market, with a few hundred open roles in logistics and tech around the northwest side, and median home prices holding near the mid 200 thousands inside I 465, with slightly higher prices in hot neighborhoods like Fountain Square and Broad Ripple. Public safety officials say there have been several weather related injury calls and property damage reports in the past 24 hours, but so far, no major crime spikes tied to the storms. IMPD continues extra patrols along major corridors like East Washington Street and around downtown entertainment districts through the weekend.
