Founded in India in 2007 and has business set up in the Asia Pacific region, Africa, US, Europe, and Japan. -- It is backed by some of the industry's highly regarded investors such as Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sherpalo Ventures, SoftBank, and Mumbai Angels. -- InMobi started as an SMS-based search platform -- previously known as mKhoj. In 2007, the company pivoted to a more scalable platform, mobile advertising.
