Joy, ever optimistic, teams up with Sadness, whose deeper understanding of human complexity proves crucial, to embark on a quest through Riley's mind. Their mission? To restore harmony and help Riley find her true self amidst the emotional upheaval. Alongside Riley's internal journey, we meet new external characters like Valentina 'Val' Ortiz (Lilimar), a popular girl at Riley's high school, whose influence stirs up a mix of emotions, from admiration to rivalry.
