In this episode of The Leadership Lounge, we discuss Jonathan Goodbrand Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Convention, MCX McDonald’s Corporation Jon is a McDonald’s Customer Experience (MCX) Leadership team member and leads the Worldwide Convention team as part of McDonald’s Brand & Marketing team. Jon’s McDonald’s career began as a part-time crew member 36 years ago, evolving through various restaurant, field and corporate roles in the UK business. In 2010, he moved to Chicago to join the global side of the business. Most recently, Jon served as VP, Global Operations leading solution development, deployment and systems to help our restaurant teams across the globe serve feel good moments consistently to our 60M customers a day. Jon is known for leading systemwide events, past and present, including the 2017 Investor Event & Gallery Walk Experience and Worldwide Convention Experiences in 2018, 2020 and 2022. He is now dedicated to designing, developing and executing our global Worldwide Convention (WWC). The 2024 event is slated for Barcelona and will be the biggest brand event on the McDonald’s calendar, bringing together 12,000 franchisees and their organizations, our suppliers, and our market and corporate teams. Jon’s contributions to McDonald’s have been recognized many times.
