Intaresu Podcast 170 - Pierresat

Pierresat was born in Lisbon, where he currently resides, and began his enthusiasm for the art of mixing when he was 12 years old, when his parents served him his first meals with pitch. At the age of 16, he became the resident DJ at "Sociedade Bar," where he stayed for three years. At the age of 18, he enrolled in the DJ course at the Institute of Arts and Shows (IAE), where he graduated with a final score of 19 percent on a scale of 0 to 20. After taking a long pause for family reasons, he was invited to be a part of the "Code Orange" Project in September 2011, and in 2012 he joined the "Suck My Lollipop Agency," where he had the chance to play in some legendary clubs in Lisbon such as the Kremlin, Op Art Cafe, and Kozee. In 2013, he won the "Pandora Records Mixing Contest" and was asked to mix the collection Pandora Digital Records Mixed by DJ Pierresat. In 2019, he publishes two songs on the renowned Portuguese label Piston Recordings, and he receives one Beatport Top 100 entry, which reaches 75th position in the top Hype Deep House. He was invited to join the Klub Inch DJ team in December 2016, where he lasted for a year and had a monthly residency. Pierresat is a talented DJ who has shared the booth with many national and international DJs, including UMEK, Paul Darey, Joe Red, Eric Sneo, Axel Karakasis, Yamil, Chris Main, and Gaston Zani, among others.
