As the rave culture begins in Ciudad Juarez in the early 2000’s, Barbara gets involved at the age of 16 in the electronic music scene with promoting events and DJing. From there, she grows into one of the city’s most important DJs, even being seen as one of the true pioneers of the Mexican scene. Her fine taste in music and ability to read any crowd have led her to play in different cities all over Mexico at clubs such as The Hardpop, La Santanera, Bar Americas Club 01, as well as various countries including USA, Canada, The Netherlands, Italy and the UK, with performances at clubs and radio stations like Spuistreet Records Radio, Open Source Radio, Modulate FM UK and House Nation Amsterdam Prison Radio. As a producer she has been signed by labels like Innocent Music, Not Allowed, MusicIs4Lovers, Zebra Records, Totoyov, Conceptual Records, Vandalism among others. In 2019 she launched her own vinyl & digital music label Borderline Black Records which is a rapidly growing platform where both upcoming and internationally renowned artists can display their talents.
