Intaresu Podcast 515 - Erica Menei

Coming from a background in art and performance, with over 12 years of ballet study, Erica Menei is a DJ who loves to mix sounds and experiment behind the booth. Born and based in Rome, she began her journey in 2011 by collaborating with Wonder Wet Records. This experience inspired her to further her skills as a professional producer by studying the basics of electronic music composition. As the Co-Owner and A&R of Talkischeap Records, founded in 2013, Erica released her first EP, "The Ghosts Are Gone," in the same year. From 2015 to 2019, she was a resident DJ with the She Made family, an all-female project originating in the historic Rashomon Club, a cornerstone of Roman clubbing. Erica also held a residency at Goa Club during the 2017/18 season and has played at renowned venues like Fabric in London and Golden Gate in Berlin.
