Interview - Dr Lisa Dethridge - RMIT University Melbourne

Lisa focuses on communication pathways at the “bleeding edge” oftechnological innovation using telecoms, games and robots as virtualcollaboration tools. Her applied knowledge of information architecture, A.I.,storytelling and human-computer interaction goes across media and acrossdisciplines. Her production experience for screen and digital media includesthe design of real, virtual and mixed-reality environments for music,commerce, medicine, disaster resilience, wellness, film/TV, publishing andonline learning. She has produced Hollywood script materials for MTV, ETV,Fox, CBS and Working Title. She has exhibited digital artworks at PrattInstitute of Arts and Engineering New York, the Science Museum at TrinityCollege Dublin and Melbourne Museum. She has pioneered user-experienceand avatar design for virtual environments and she gets un-plugged in herspare time by playing drums and producing physical theatre.
