In this episode, Hina speaks to Mark Wright, the 2014 winner of the apprentice. Incredibly Lord Alan Sugar is still a shareholder and business partner with Mark and his businesses are thriving. He has always had a passion for business and he always wanted to be his own boss but you need money to do so. He was unable to get his business financed as he couldn’t get money from traditional methods so he tried out for the apprentice! One of the biggest lessons Mark learnt from Lord Sugar about business is that it is all about hard work. You have consistently put in the work day after day to achieve results. You need a great mindset and an even tougher work ethic. He has picked up multiple great habits from working alongside Lord Sugar. Mark is investing in various business at the moment and his next goal is about expanding and becoming as big as possible, he is still young and wants to start taking his businesses abroad. He is really enjoying the journey right now, it’s very easy to work every day and not think about how far you have come. It’s not a simple as just believing and succeeding, belief is a large part of success and changing your inner monologue and mindset, but it’s not enough to just believe, you need to apply yourself and have every step in place around the positive thinking as well. Mark does not understand how there are countries with poverty and starvation around the world. How can this be so when there are countries like ours that are so rich. It should be impossible in 2021.
