Hank Rowe, a retired educator, University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School alum and bicycle enthusiast, is riding across the country via Route 66 to raise awareness and money for the Children’s Clinics Adaptive Recreation program. Hank has been one of Children’s Clinics most reliable and valuable volunteers since 2016. He has worked countless hours building and delivering adaptive tricycles as well as helping raise money for the kids of Southern Arizona to receive an adaptive tricycle. Over the past six years, Children’s Clinics has gifted nearly 400 adaptive tricycles and Hank has either built or had an hand in helping ensure kids received their trike in over 150 of those tricycles. Hank is also a grandson of legendary Arizona baseball coach Frank Sancet and was a batboy for the Wildcats at the end of Sancet's coaching career and beginning of Jerry Kindall's time at Arizona.
