Today, I’m joined by Dr. Ngonidzashe Chirinda, a climate change scientist at the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture in Colombia. He is a lead author for the 2019 Refinement to the 2006 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories. His current research is on developing and evaluating feasible climate change mitigation options in agriculture. During the past 15 years, he has worked in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. He is originally from Zimbabwe.
