Interview with the band Yuuf (June 15, or 15 June, 2026)

In this episode of the Musical Circle, Ben Charles interviews members of the London band Yuuf, who are Hugo, the guitarist and Oliver (Oli) who is the drummer. The band gives out their origin story while also talking about how the band finally formed into a strong quartet. Ben asks the band about their creative process and mindset towards not only recording music but also releasing the music to the public. Ben also asks Yuuf about how the song Silky Spring and a YouTube Live Session in the forest finally gave them recognition. Yuuf explains how the viral video happened and how it was set up. Yuuf also gives an origin story on how their 2024 EP In The Sun came out and the reaction they received from it. Yuuf explains the reaction they get from international audiences and the differences between international audiences and those in the United States.Yuuf talks about how they met Ben and the story of how Ben interacted with the band itself.
