Introducing: Don't Write Me Off - Season 1 Trailer

Seven Writers... Seven Stories... One Champion! INTRODUCING: Don’t Write Me Off is an immersive, short-form audio drama competition. Each season, a select number of writers are given the same narrative elements - a character, a location, and an inciting incident - to craft a script no more than twenty pages. How they use those elements in their story is entirely up to them. Audiences then get to vote on which story they like most. After a month, we host a roundtable discussion with the writers during which the winner of that season is announced. The winner of each season gets to choose the prompt for the following season. History of England from the Invasion of Julius Caesar to the Revolution of 1688, Volume 1B by David Hume Loyal Books David Hume is one of the great philosophers of the Western intellectual tradition. His philosophical writings earned him lasting fame and renown; his historical writing earned his bread and butter. His "The History of England from the Invasion of Julius Caesar to the Revolution of 1688", published between 1754 and 1764, was immensely popular and Hume wrote that "the copy-money given me by the booksellers much exceeded any thing formerly known in England; I was become not only independent, but opulent." The six volume work has had numerous editions and is still in print today. David Hume and Thomas Babington Macaulay have frequently been compared as the premier English historians but we don't have to choose because Macaulay begins where Hume leaves off. This is Volume 1B which covers the reigns of Henry III to Richard III. Shallow Thoughts And Deep Shit Jefferson Lambert Welcome to Shallow Thoughts and Deep Shit, a collection of my short stories, poems, miscellaneous ramblings, moronic babblings and rants that I've collected in a box for the past 40 years. I pulled out that box, dusted off the pages and assembled them here for you for your enjoyment. Keep in mind, I never wrote any of this for you, the listener. This was all written for me, the writer…nothing more and nothing less. Please don’t take any of this too seriously, because I certainly don’t.Enjoy!Music from #Uppbeat https://uppbeat.io/t/philip-anderson/achievementLicense: 5T5NAWSJBYUEKLTD Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/stads/support
